The shank is made from high-quality medical-grade stainless steel. The grinding layer is coated with a very sharp and hard abrasive made of aluminum oxide. Its hardness measures 9 units, surpassed only by diamonds at 10 units. The abrasive layer securely adheres to the composite bond through patented technology, reducing procedure time by 30 - 50%
